About Me

Hey there and welcome! I go by Suits and this is a little bit about me.I'm an art major with an associates going for my bachelors of fine arts degree and gallery exhibition. I mostly work with traditional media such as charcoal, graphite, watercolor, gouache or oil. I’m also familiar with fiber arts such as embroidery and cross-stitch as well as learning a few digital programs on my own (Procreate and Affinity).My favorite and current fandom is of course Star Wars. I love all SW media but mostly the Prequel Era.
Other fandoms I enjoy are Percy Jackson, Dragon Prince, Marvel, DC, Rangers Apprenctice, Keeper of the Lost Cities and so many more.My favorite things to do in fandom are participate and create zines and anthologies - especially charity ones. I'm also a huge collector. Coins, POPS, FigPins, fantasy pins and figures!The incredible icon and art I'm using was made for me by the amazing Pinkiemme! See more of her stuff on her site here!

SW Zine Archive

Currently I am working on gathering information on every known Star Wars fanzine that have recently cropped up in the fandom. The focus of the archive is to preserve all information of these projects to ensure that they are never lost and as a resource for those that wish to create their own zines in the future.I work on this by myself whenever I have the spare time. Zine Projects

Below are a list of the current zine projects that I am working on. If you're looking for advice or resources then feel free to reach out through any of my socials or email. I love to help others get started or organized on their projects!

Experience:

Head mod - Familiar with getting a zine started.
Organizing mod - Planning out dates and working with google sheets and docs. Currently learning to work airtable.
Discord mod - Very familiar with YAGPDB and Discohook as well as Utils. I know how to set up webhooks and various bots. Have modded discord servers for years now and can handle various situations as needed.
Social mod - Know how to create and send emails using gmail. Can set up and manage Carrd, Linktree, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr and Twitter.
Graphic mod - I have taken multiple design classes for my degree and can make promotion graphics for the social accounts.
Art mod - Can keep track of and check in with art contributors as well as provide them with feedback and direction on their works. Most familiar with Procreate but I have also used Photoshop and Illustrator. Know the difference between RBY, RBG and CMYK.

Currently Learning:

Finance - Holding funds, budget estimates and placing orders.
Layout - Digital and printed zines on the Affinity program
Shipping - fulfillment of physical orders.

Forgotten Chapters

Forgotten Chapters is a non-profit fanzine centering around the 2003 Clone Wars 2D animated micro-series by Genndy Tartakovsky. In celebration of it's 20th year since it's release we are hoping to gather fans together to create amazing artwork and stories focusing on not just the series but other often forgotten legends moments from the Clone Wars era in Star Wars.

For a Fistful of Credits was inspired by the incredible art and writing of the fandom where creators turned our favorite space characters into rough cowboys and outlaws. This zine wishes to bring all these creators together for the greatest collection of Star Wars in the wild west.
